A 16-year old girl in East Yorkshire who was told that she had just six to 12 months to live unless she gets a liver transplant is on her way to recovery thanks to a high carbohydrate diet rich in chocolates and crisps. Elle Wilkinson was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease which led to liver failure.
